Elizabeth LaDuca is a fine art film photographer with a passion for preserving fleeing moments with organic simplicity.

By capturing those in-between moments where couples are most themselves,

she uses photography to tell the unique story of your day.

Her style is bright and airy, and uses light and movement to convey all of the emotion found on your wedding day.

She is passionate about creating beautiful work that speaks to couples' hearts,

and speaks to the feeling of their day.

a note from the founder of the bare bride

setting the heart-centered stage

In a wedding culture overflowing with cookie-cutter trends and brands, it can be easy to feel lost in the noise of it all. Who are you supposed to listen to? What should you subscribe to? Who can you trust?

Part of what I do at The Bare Bride is help down-to-earth wedding professionals get to the heart of why they do what they do and communicate it in a powerful way so that it can cut through the industry clutter and hook you right in the heart. Heart to Heart.

One of my former clients, Elizabeth LaDuca, is avoiding the industry clutter in her own, breathtaking way but embracing a message of simplicity and naturalness in all things.

I'll let you hear about it directly from her...

Q. Why did you take the leap to pursue a more heart-centered form of branding in a generally more shallow industry?

A. For me, it is so important to document a couple's day in an honest and heartfelt manner. I look for the little moments and gestures that build the larger story of their day. I seek to create a collection full of texture and light, movement and subtle glances. I put so much of my own heart into connecting with a couple that I wanted to ensure my branding really spoke to my process.

Q. What is the true heart behind what you do at Elizabeth LaDuca Photography? Why do you do what you do?

A. It is such a privilege to be entrusted with documenting a couple's story. I am so grateful for the way my couples open their lives to me, and in return I take great care to document every moment with warmth and simplicity. I feel so lucky to be able to work with couples who understand the power of marriage and the life they're building together!

Q. What is your all-time favorite place in the world?

A. I absolutely love hiking with my husband and our pup, Otto. We're often in the wood, and there's something about the crunching of leaves and the breeze through the trees that I find very peaceful and energizing at the same time.

Q. If you could binge watch one show right now, what would it be?
A. Oh this is a tough one! I'm not a big TV watcher honestly, but I used to binge watch a lot of cooking shows. I'm a big foodie.

Q. What is one thing that you bring to every bride you work with besides images captured with organic simplicity?

A. A big smile, efficiency, and organization! I think it's a big part of my job to keep brides calm and present in whats going on during their day. I like to be very organized going into a wedding day so that I can ensure their day goes smoothly.

Q. What is one upcoming shoot that you're really excited about?

A. I'm really excited about an intimate vow renewal coming up at the end of the month - it's going to be a good one!

Q. What is something that you want every bride to know about their engagement and wedding planning?

A. I got married in 2014 so I'm very much in tune with all of the challenges and excitement that comes with planning a wedding. If I were to do it all again, or provide some sage wisdom from the other side, I'd encourage brides to listen to their heart about what feels right for them. If traditions don't match your vision, don't do them! Craft a day that honors your unique personality and who you are as a couple. A wedding is a wonderful celebration of your relationship, but also a great place to start building the foundation for your future. Listen to your heart, be your own couple and prioritize what's important to you!

Dear Bride, I wouldn't say this if I didn't mean it - Elizabeth is a person you want to know and would be lucky to work with (I have a not-so-secret #girlcrush on her). The same aesthetic that she so beautifully captures in her talented work also radiates from her heart: ease, intentionality, and soft, warm, contagious light.

To have a wedding photography experience centered around those things, Beth is your girl.
